Sandra M. Deraney-Reilly, PHD

Sandra M. Deraney-Reilly, PHD brings a variety of life experiences to her practice. She resides in the mountains and works out of an office in the Old Town area of Fort Collins, CO. She attended the University of San Francisco, where she was granted a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She obtained two Master's Degrees, one in communication arts, from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and one in counseling psychology, from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She was granted a doctorate in counseling psychology, in 1993, from the University of North Dakota.

She has worked as an assistant director at the Youth Services Bureau in Arvada, CO. In Crookston, MN, she had a private practice, worked in a mental health center, and taught psychology at the University of Minnesota. In 1992, she returned to Colorado, to complete an APA(American Psychological Association) approved internship at the Colorado State University Counseling Center. She taught psychology courses in the CSU Psychology Department and the Woman's Studies Program. She has been providing psychotherapy in private practice in Fort Collins, CO, since 1993. Dr. Sandra M. Deraney-Reilly has acquired additional training in EMDR, hypnotherapy, eating disorders, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
She believes that MINDFULNESS IS THE KEY TO CHANGE.
